Glamora is a personal beauty shopping concierge. We take care to handle your information the same way we'd want ours handled. Carefully, and only for what you came to us for.
What we collect
When you place an order with us, we collect:
- Your name, email, and WhatsApp number, so we can reach you about your order.
- Your shipping address, so we can deliver your products.
- What you ordered, when, and for how much, to fulfill and support your purchase.
- Payment information, processed directly by Stripe or ZainCash. We never see or store your full card number.
When you browse our site, we and our partners may also collect:
- Your IP address, browser type, device, and approximate location.
- Pages you visit and actions you take (products viewed, cart additions, country selections).
How we use it
- To fulfill your order: sourcing, shipping, customs, refunds, support.
- To send you confirmations, shipping updates, and answer questions on WhatsApp.
- To improve the site and understand what's working.
- To run advertising and remind people of products they showed interest in.
Analytics and advertising (Meta Pixel)
We use Meta Pixel to understand how visitors use our site and to deliver relevant advertising on Facebook and Instagram. Meta Pixel may collect information about your visit, including your IP address, browser, device information, and the actions you take on Glamora (such as viewing products, adding items to cart, or completing a purchase).
This information is shared with Meta Platforms, Inc. You can learn more about how Meta uses this data in Meta's Data Policy. You can also adjust your ad preferences directly through your Facebook or Instagram account settings.
Who we share data with
We share the minimum needed with the partners who help us run Glamora:
- Stripe, ZainCash, Vipps: payment processing.
- DHL, FedEx, Aramex: shipping and customs clearance.
- Meta (Facebook, Instagram): analytics and advertising via Meta Pixel.
- WhatsApp: order communication.
- Our infrastructure providers (Supabase, Railway, Vercel) for storing and serving order data securely.
We don't sell your personal data, and we don't share it with anyone outside of fulfilling your order or running the service.
Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies for essentials (keeping you signed in, remembering your cart) and for analytics and advertising. By using glamora, you consent to this use. If you want to limit tracking, most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- See what information we have about you.
- Correct anything that's wrong.
- Delete your account and order history (where we're not legally required to keep it).
- Opt out of marketing communications.
If you're in the EU/EEA (including Norway and Sweden), the GDPR gives you these rights in detail, and we'll honor them. Just write to us.
Data retention
We keep your order data for as long as we're legally required to (typically 5 to 7 years for tax and customs records). Marketing data is kept only while you remain an active customer or until you ask us to delete it.
Children
Glamora is not directed to anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
